Recent photography from orientation weekend at Allegheny College… We captured the adventure and excitement of students beginning a new chapter of their lives. Along with documenting the events of orientation, we focused on creating images that would have an extended shelf life. The photos could be repurposed for other uses in the future including the college website and print materials. Seminar-style discussions during the “Allegheny Listens”, a campus wide reading of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot, gave us the opportunity to photograph academic images, as well.
