Some recently published work… The Fall 2015 issue of A Common Place magazine. Earlier this year, I traveled to Eastern Congo to photograph students and schools in the refugee camps for the quarterly magazine of Mennonite Central Committee. The two decade long war in Congo has been referred to as the deadliest conflict since World War II with over 5.4 million dead and over 2 million displaced. The organization is helping to support children attending local schools while living in the camps. It was incredible to see how excited the children were to attend school and their hunger for learning. Here’s the magazine spread…
